Hej Clara Leone, Revolver!

Springtime has arrived in Copenhagen – what’s your favourite thing to do in Copenhagen?

Copenhagen is so much more than just a city, and it really blooms when the city wakes up during spring and summer.

All summer, Copenhagen is booming with great events and cultural happenings. I’m really looking forward to the street-festival Distortion here in May. And CHART Art Fair at Charlottenborg, and the new food- and music festival HAVEN at Refshaleøen, which are both being held back-to-back with Revolver and Copenhagen Fashion Week, are going to be amazing.

As an Italian, I also really enjoy the breakfasts at Salotto 42, a well-known place in my hometown Rome, which opened in the centre of Copenhagen one year ago. It is an inspiring parlor where you can enjoy your espresso alone or meeting clients.

For food, the opportunities are endless – my personal favourites are Relæ in Jærgersborggade on a sunny day, or a rooftop dinner at Maio in ILLUM, overlooking the skyline of the old city. Or just a grabbing a sandwich and a cappuccino and going for a walk in The Kings Garden, right around the corner from my apartment.

Revolver is participating in the Menswear week in Milan, tell us about that!

At our third edition of Revolver in Milan, that will be held from the 17th till the 19th of June, we will showcase around 40 Brands, mostly Scandinavian, with some International ones that represent the same “handwriting”.

The location will be in the industrial Ansaldo building, right in front of the entrance of the WHITE show, which is also our Italian partner.

Milan is going to be the new Paris. We believe that it´s going to be the new meet-up place for both brands and buyers. Milan has really developed as a city with its own infrastructure in the last years, and on the other end, Paris has been really down for all the sad reasons that we know.

This is really the time for Milan to shine on the international fashion scene. And obviously, the Italians are much nicer than the French! 🙂

When it comes to Italy and tradeshows, everyone thinks of Pitti Uomo, but there is much more: When Pitti ends, all the buyers are taking the first train to attend Milan Fashion Week with all the big shows: Gucci, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Versace and Marni etc.

We are really proud to be able to show Scandinavian brands next to those big international well-known brands. In fact, for the second time, WOOD WOOD is on the official calendar of Milan Men´s week, repeating the success from their first show in January.

What is your role at Revolver?

I previously worked at Gallery, the Trade Show that was held in Forum, and when it closed down, I decided to follow Christian Maibom to Revolver. It is now 6 years that I have worked with Christian, and with the rest of the team at the office, we have created a ”family” – We all have different backgrounds, habits, and personalities, but somehow, together we can create magic!

We are a small team therefore each and every one of us is involved 100% in the entire process.
I mostly have the contact to our exhibitors, scout new brands, and I work on creating new interesting partnerships.

At Revolver we believe in personal relationship, we want to be close to our clients and partners, thereby becoming relevant for them more than 2 times per year.

The next edition of Revolver Copenhagen will take place in August, what’s new?

Revolver has found its format. We are not going to be bigger, but sharper and even more accurate in our way of doing our trade show. For August, we have a lot of exciting stuff in the planning for next season. Improved art direction, a new food partner, runway shows, digital development and an even stronger list of brands. We’re ready, and we are looking so much forward to seeing you in Copenhagen!
