Shoe Trends for AW26 – Shoe expert Sara Winter Summarizes
It is with great pleasure that we present our latest shoe report for Autumn/Winter 2026, compiled by our renowned shoe expert Sara Winter. Sara recently attended Copenhagen Fashion Week AW26 and Fashion Week Trade, where the season’s new releases and trends were in focus. The autumn and winter collections are dominated by brown shades, from cognac to chocolate mousse, alongside gray, black, and light neutral tones.
In Sara’s report, you will find an inspiring overview of the key shoe trends for the season. The loafer remains a front-runner, featuring chunky soles for outdoor wear and thin soles for indoor use. 3/4 boots, overknees, and chaps-inspired styles are taking up more space, while rugged materials, visible teddy lining, and an expanded animal print family, including seal, set the tone. On the heel front, everything from mini-heels to sculptural shapes is featured, and the wedge heel makes a comeback in an updated version.
