Mille W Nordisk Design
MiLLE W NORDISK DESIGN is a Swedish brand within sustainable interiors and home furnishings that was founded in 2011 by Danish-born Mille Wallin, who is the company's designer and owner. It is the Scandinavian shapes and materials that has given her the passion to create sustainable products with high quality. The consistent line of our products is our recycled leather, which is GRS®-certified (Global Recycled Standard) manufactured from leather remnants within the fashion and furniture industry. The leather remnants are mixed with natural rubber that is naturally made from the rubber tree. The recycled leather is of the highest quality consisting of 80% leather and 20% natural rubber, the quality is very durable and water-repellent. In addition to recycled leather, we only use certified material choices in our products, our textile products are OEKO-TEX certified and the wood products are made of FSC-certified wood and the glass in the lanterns consists of recycled glass. We have our design and manufacturing in our own premises in Kullavik just south of Gothenburg.
