Let us guide you to a perfect experience at Fashion Week Trade next week. With a little planning ahead of fashion week, you miss out on our unique opportunities to network with industry professionals, visit your favorite brands, and, above all, be inspired. If you are visiting us as a buyer, store owner,  press,  or fashion enthusiast, you can  our step-by-step guide on how to best prepare for your visit below:

1. REGISTER YOUR VISIT

The first step is to register for Fashion Week Trade. You can do this via the link here or on the Stockholm Fashion District website. Registering in advance saves time and ensures that you get all the important information before, after, and during Fashion Week Trade.

2. RSVP TO EVENTS

You don’t want to miss our exclusive events, industry mingles, and seminars. Check out our schedule and register as soon as possible to secure your place at the event you want to attend. This will also allow you to plan your week efficiently and avoid clashes in your schedule.

3. CHECK OUT THE BRANDS

Make a list of the brands and designers you are most interested in visiting. Stockholm Fashion District’s unique platform offers a wide range of new and established exhibitors. By doing some research in advance, you can plan your schedule better and make sure you don’t miss anything important. You can view all brands via the link here

4. BOOK MEETINGS IN ADVANCE

As a buyer, it’s a good idea to book meetings with the specific brands and exhibitors you want to meet. This will ensure you have time to discuss collections in detail and create opportunities for deeper planning together with the exhibitors. Contact exhibitors early to schedule these meetings to make sure you have time to visit the brands you want.

5. PICK OUT YOUR PARTY OUTFIT

You don’t want to miss the big fashion party of the year, so bring a sparkling outfit. Fashion week is not only about daytime events but also evening activities and parties. Plan your outfits for each occasion, so that you feel great and look professional. Will it be a pair of heels or sneakers? It’s up to your party mood to decide.

6. PLAN YOUR TRIP

Lastly, make sure you have a clear plan on how to get to and from the Stockholm Fashion District. There are many transport options such as the nice trip with the SL boat to Nacka Strand (Boat 80 goes directly from Nybrokajen). There are also several other options such as bus 433 from Slussen, car, taxi or if you live nearby you can choose the environmentally friendly option of cycling. Planning your trip saves time and reduces stress.

Make sure to prepare the last things before the most fun fashion week of the season. By following these six steps, you will be well prepared and allow yourself to enjoy Fashion Week Trade to the fullest. With the right planning and a structured approach, you can maximise your experience and make valuable contacts in the fashion industry… and you won’t leave that party dress hanging in your closet.
