The Status of European Fashion Report 2024 was presented in Brussels

In December, our CEO Helena Waker represented Stockholm Fashion District at a significant meeting in Brussels, where the European Fashion Alliance, of which we are proud members, presented their comprehensive annual report “Status of European Fashion 2024”. The event included a specially organized Fashion Policy Round Table at the European Parliament, where Sweden’s EU Commissioner Jessika Roswall contributed valuable insights and perspectives.

The detailed report provides an in-depth analysis of the fashion industry’s ongoing transformation, with particular focus on three key areas: the accelerating transition towards more sustainable business models and production methods, the implementation of groundbreaking technological innovations across the entire value chain, and the growing needs and strategies for skills development within the sector.
