Textile Fashion Centre 10 years celebration

Last week, the Textile Fashion Centre celebrated its tenth anniversary in Borås. The Textile Fashion Centre is located in a converted textile factory and houses the Swedish School of Textiles, the University of Borås, the Nordic Textile Academy, the Science Park, the Incubator, the Textile Museum and several other initiatives and companies in fashion and textiles. Over the years, a strong meeting place has been created and together all the organisations form a creative and important meeting place for the development and future of the industry.

Helena Waker, CEO of Stockholm Fashion District, was there and she says that;

“It was a fantastic celebration and I want to highlight the Textile Fashion Centre as a unique place for creativity and innovation with a high level of education and research. We believe in international and national interaction where we together can strengthen each other, creating greater collaboration will increase Swedish competitiveness. Together we also have an important role to play in transforming the fashion industry into a better and more responsible industry with the right skills.”
