Press release 05.02.24 – Stockholm Fashion District begins 2024 with a strong season
During Fashion Week Trade, approximately 600 brands showcase their collections in 140 showrooms and the fully booked Fair Hall at Stockholm Fashion District. We invite you to be a part of the district and to participate in our full program for the week, which is presented below.
“Sweden, and Scandinavia as a whole, are markets of prime importance for the footwear industry. It is a particularly strategic area for Made in Italy since the demand for premium brands remains high there, despite the uncertainty impacting global markets at the present moment. We are convinced that the partnership with Stockholm Fashion District, which represents the fashion industry’s most representative business community, provides an ideal opportunity for meeting and talking with buyers and the press, thus further consolidating the MICAM97 role as the world’s leading footwear fair.” – Giovanna Ceolini
Furthermore, Trade Partners Sweden, the international trade organisation and founder of Stockholm Fashion District, will be celebrating its 110th anniversary in 2024. There are several reasons for celebration, as we anticipate a positive trend for the industry in the upcoming year.
Stockholm Fashion District is expanding by attracting permanent tenants who bring strong brand portfolios to the district and Fashion Week Trade. In Stockholm Showroom, we proudly present Love it Agency, representing brands such as Esprit, Falke, and Hanky Panky, as well as ATW, showcasing brands like YBL, Junge, and Pont Neuf. Selected Brands have also relocated to Stockholm Shoe House, introducing brands such as Karl Lagerfeld, Rebook, and Hey Dude. As a result, Stockholm Shoe House is fully occupied with a waiting list for showrooms.
Being part of this journey is a real privilege and we are so looking forward to the upcoming season.” – Helena Waker
